One look at the new P Series is all it takes to notice the striking resemblance to Cervelo's flagship time trial bike, the P5. The P Series benefits from all the racing experience, wind tunnel testing, and trials necessary to make the P5 the fastest time trial bike in the World Tour, but adds a couple of features that make it the perfect companion for a triathlon of any distance.
The P Series uses a fork with a D-shaped steerer tube and a round stem interface. This means you can use your preferred stock handlebar and extensions, and make changes if your fit or preferences change. It's also significantly more adaptable if you have very specific fit requirements.
Increased wheel and tire clearance, reduced aerodynamic drag, cleaner cable routing, and Cervelo's first internal in-frame storage compartment all add up to create the ideal bike for those looking to make the most of the time between T1 and T2.
FEATURES
• LIMITLESS SPEED: The new P series frame is 5.9 grams lighter than its predecessor, but the increased tire clearance allows for Reserve 52/63 wheels and Vittoria 29mm tires, which saves 30 grams or 3.5 watts compared to the Reserve 50/Vittoria 28 combination.
• IN-FRAME COMPARTMENT: New this year for the P series, the integrated in-frame compartment is designed for a tube, small multi-tool, and CO₂ cartridge. The lid is easily removable with or without a bottle in place—simply twist the latch and pull.
• FUELING DURING THE RACE: In addition to the new in-frame storage compartment, we still include the Smartpak 400, our top tube-mounted bento box, on all P series bikes, making fueling during the race much easier without sacrificing aerodynamics.
• DESIGNED FOR SPEED: In addition to the new integrated in-frame storage compartment, we still include the Smartpak 400, our top tube-mounted bento box, on all P series bikes, making fueling during the ride much easier without sacrificing aerodynamics.
