At NRC Bikes, as authorized dealers of Trek, Orbea, and Scott, we support and manage the official warranties for each brand. Our commitment is to provide you with security, transparency, and support at all times to protect your investment.

Coverage by Brand

Orbea

• Lifetime warranty on the frame: Applies to the original owner once the legal period has ended.
• Accident policy: Preferential discount in case of structural damage due to external factors.
• Exclusive benefits: Access to promotions, launches, and brand benefits.
• Mandatory registration: Required to activate the warranty. Register your bike here.

Trek

Coverage

• Lifetime (original owner):
  • Main frame
  • Suspension arms
• Up to 2 years:
  • Components
  • Accessories and apparel
  • Paint and decals
  • Rear suspension components
• Subsequent owners:
  • 3-year warranty on frames and forks from original purchase

Special Programs

• Carbon Care: Replacement or repair at a preferential cost for carbon.
• Carbon Care Wheels (Bontrager): Support for structural damage.
• Bontrager helmet replacement: Free replacement for impact within the first year.

Scott

Conditions

• Applies only to the first buyer
• The bicycle must be registered on the official website within the first year of purchase
• Must be purchased through an authorized dealer

Warranty Duration

• 5 years: Frame and rear triangle
• 3 years: If annual maintenance is not performed with an authorized dealer
• 2 years:
  • Category 5 bicycles
  • Rigid forks manufactured by Scott

Maintenance must be carried out according to the official manual and stamped by the dealer.

Coverage

• Applies exclusively to:
  • Frames
  • Rear triangles
  • Scott rigid forks
• Does not include components (these are governed by the warranty of their manufacturers: Shimano, SRAM, etc.)

Warranty Process

• Report visible defects immediately after purchase
• Hidden defects must be reported upon detection
• The bicycle must be delivered to an authorized dealer
• Requires:
  • Proof of purchase
  • Product registration
  • Maintenance history

Resolution

Scott may:

• Repair the defect
• Replace the product with an equivalent one
• Refund the value considering usage

Exclusions

• Normal wear and tear
• Accidents or impacts
• Corrosion
• Improper maintenance
• Modifications or use of non-original parts
• Aesthetic damage (paint, visual details)
• Rental bikes or commercial use

What the warranty does NOT cover (General)

• Natural wear and tear from use
• Lack of maintenance
• Incorrect installation
• Improper use or negligence
• Unauthorized modifications
• Labor not included

Requirements for warranty claim

• Proof of purchase
• Product purchased from an authorized dealer
• Management through NRC Bikes
• Product registration (where applicable)

Additional benefits

• Trek / Bontrager:
  • 30-day satisfaction guarantee on accessories

Important considerations

• The warranty primarily applies to the original owner
• It is not transferable (except for brand exceptions)
• It does not extend to replaced parts
• There may be restrictions outside the country of purchase
• Policies may change without prior notice
