DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Use as your primary calorie source during exercise lasting less than 3 hours.

Consume 1 serving 10 minutes before and every 45 minutes during exercise. Add 16 to 26 oz (473 to 768 ml) of water per hour, depending on the temperature.

If using more than one fuel, be sure to count all calories from all products consumed to achieve a correct total hourly intake.

Use as a secondary calorie source during exercise lasting more than 3 hours; it's time to switch to Perpetuem® as your primary fuel source. However, Hammer Gel can be combined with Perpetuem or any other Hammer fuel during prolonged exercise for variety and to avoid flavor fatigue. Just be sure to count calories from all sources to avoid overconsumption.

INGREDIENTS

• Maltodextrin: a complex carbohydrate with a high glycemic index (GI), ideal for providing fast-acting, long-lasting energy during exercise and for replenishing the body's glycogen stores after exercise.
• Energy Smart® (rice syrup, grape juice concentrate): this low-sugar natural sweetener plays a significant role in Hammer Gel's delicious taste while contributing minimally to the overall carbohydrate content. Energy Smart® is certified GMO-free, gluten-free, and allergen-free.
• Citric Acid: used in minimal amounts to meet FDA requirements for acidity levels. Hammer Gel contains less citric acid than comparable products.
• Salt: added minimally for preservation, taste, and digestive support. It is not a source of electrolytes (refer to the Endurolytes® product line).
• L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine: branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) protect against muscle tissue breakdown while helping to alleviate fatigue.
• L-alanine: this amino acid is used to help meet energy demands, particularly when the body's carbohydrate reserves are depleting.
• Potassium Chloride: rich source of potassium. Also provides additional chloride.
• Potassium Carbonate: used in small amounts to regulate the acid/alkaline balance of Hammer Gel flavors that are slightly more acidic than alkaline (e.g., espresso, chocolate).
• Cultured Dextrose (used in pouches and some jars): all-natural FDA-approved preservative.
• Potassium Sorbate (used in some jars): FDA-approved preservative.
