Hydraulic press for brake pistons

The PP-1.2 slides between disc brake pads inside the caliper, allowing the user to spread pads and compress hydraulic pistons when replacing pads, aligning pads, or performing other maintenance procedures. The PP-1.2 expands the gap between pads making it easier to insert the disc between them when reinstalling a caliper or wheel. Dual-density handle provides a firm grip. Fits most hydraulic disc brake caliper bodies, including Shimano® XTR®.

FEATURES

• The tapered end of the PP-1.2 is 25mm wide.
  The total insertable length of the tool is 26mm.
  Wedge thickness is 3.2mm.
  NOTE: Wedge-type piston tools, such as the PP-1.2, are not designed for use with brake systems that use ceramic pistons, such as Shimano Road Disc Brake calipers.
