Balero LLU MAX BO-MAX

Enduro Bearings pioneered MAX-type bearings over 20 years ago for bicycles, to address the challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. MAX bearings provide 35-40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings by employing a special design where the maximum number of balls (full-complement) are inserted into the bearing through a custom-ground slot in the races. The race grooves are also deeper in these bearings to provide greater lateral support to counteract the torsional and multi-directional forces associated with mountain bike pivots. This Black-Oxide MAX-type bearing features deep-groove race designs, with grade 10 balls and full-contact dual-lip labyrinth (LLU) seals for maximum protection against the elements, while the 90% fill of extra high-pressure Almagard grease inside and the Black-Oxide/Magnetite treatment provide an extra level of corrosion resistance and prolonged worry-free performance.

This bearing has been used as a suspension pivot bearing by a large number of bicycle brands.

The Enduro bearing line is available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic hybrid, and XD15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Our bearings are always designed with the deepest possible grooves to accommodate the largest balls and feature double-lip seals that are mounted in a micro-groove, creating a complete labyrinth to provide long life and superior protection against the elements.
