Scott Addict 50

Our Addict 50 road bike offers excellent performance at a great price with a comfortable frame geometry for most riders. It is the ideal road bike for riders who enjoy the journey more than the effort, but without giving up a sprint at the end of the ride or going all out on a descent that calls for speed.

Thanks to our HMF carbon fiber, the Addict 50 is light, aerodynamic, and has excellent pedal response. But it also offers 25% more vertical flexibility compared to our competition frames to better accommodate the road and offer a smoother and less exhausting bike overall, so you can ride fast when you feel like it without suffering as much punishment.

The geometry is open, with a higher stack and a shorter reach than competition platforms. Riding the Addict doesn't require stretching to the limit. Tire clearance is also open up to 38mm; when you feel like riding on mixed surfaces, you'll have the cushioning of large tires, without sacrificing a great comfortable feeling at the pedals when you want more power on longer rides.
