Body NEO 2T SRAM XD-R (Type 2)

The standard structure of a Tacx direct drive trainer is not compatible with all cassettes. Use this freehub to adapt your SRAM XD-R cassette. It is easy to install and all you need is a 5mm hex key.

The SRAM XD-R freehub is suitable for 11 and 12-speed SRAM XD-R cassettes. This freehub is used for the NEO 2T Smart trainer.

How Do I Determine Which Type of Axle My Trainer Has?

If you have a NEO 2, FLUX S, or FLUX 2, choose one of the three identification methods to determine which type of axle your trainer has:

Observe the Surface of the Axle End Caps Included With Your Trainer

Type 1: All black end caps. No letters or numbers.

Type 2: End caps are labeled with white letters and numbers.

Identify the Part Number on the Cassette Body Installed on the Trainer Out of the Box

Tacx direct drive trainers come with a Shimano/SRAM freehub body out of the box. To determine if the trainer is a Type 1 or Type 2, look at the part number listed on the cassette body.

NOTE: If you have a cassette installed on your trainer, you will first need to remove the cassette using a lockring tool and chain whip to read the part number.

• Type 1: T2805.01 (S)
• Type 2: T2875-01

Measure the Inside Diameter of the Trainer Axle with the Cassette Body Removed Using a Caliper Tool

• Type 1: 6mm or 9mm
• Type 2: 12mm

Which Cassette Body Do I Need for My Trainer?
