The most advanced foam ever used in bar tape along with an extremely long-wearing and sticky top layer, this is the ultimate in comfort.

By thoroughly studying advances in running shoe foams and F1 tires, as well as our own research into rolling efficiency, impedance, and damping, we realized that new material technology could bring major improvements to handlebar tape. Instead of a single extrusion of foam, we use a laminate of SILCAthane, SILCAlon, and 3M viscoelastic adhesive that allows the tape to be optimized in various aspects. The result is a tape with a softer, more comfortable feel, greater grip in both dry and wet conditions, better vibration isolation, and 3 to 5 times more durability than existing materials. Since the taping process can be as important as the tape itself, we have also developed a self-adhesive butterfly-type segment to better cover the clamp area of the levers without adding bulk, a high-grip finishing tape, and expandable aluminum/composite plugs to ensure every detail is perfect.
