Trail tested and tarmac perfected, the Air-Liner Road provides the stability, comfort, and puncture protection of the Air-Liner design, ideal for bumps and blowouts. Its weight is ideal for road riders: it weighs less than the sealant required to mount the tire. The Air-Liner Road’s high-density polymer compresses with higher road tire pressures, allowing the tire casing and compound to retain its suppleness and responsiveness while the tire is inflated. Should a puncture occur, the Air-Liner Road expands to fill the void, keeping the tire secure on the rim bead and allowing you to ride up to 50km (30 miles) as a run-flat. No mid-ride repairs and no embarrassing calls for a ride.

It seems every other generation or so, bicycle manufacturers release a new attempt at adding suspension to road bikes. It’s generational because it never quite works as advertised. Air-Liner Road solves the issue at the root, turning the tires themselves into a shock-absorbing suspension by maintaining bead lock and preventing rim strikes at low pressure. Lower rolling resistance, a smoother ride, and increased traction when pedaling hard, cornering, and braking, all without the added risk of flats, folds, and burps.

A high-density polymer structure gives the Air-Liner Road all the qualities of a good shock absorber: it dampens vibrations and increases its power on strong impacts, increasing riding comfort and preventing rim strikes. In addition, it acts as a run-flat for up to an hour in case of a puncture, and its life is 2000 hours. The Air-Liner Road is compatible with ammonia-free sealant, multi-way tubeless valves, and 700c rims and tires. Its waterproof coating prevents sealant absorption. Each Air-Liner Road insert includes a 60mm Vittoria Green multi-way tubeless valve.
