Hydraulic Brake Bleed Kit — DOT

The BKD-1.2 Hydraulic Brake Bleed Kit allows bleeding of most models of hydraulic disc brakes that use DOT fluid, including those made by SRAM®, Formula®, Hayes®, and Hope®. Bleeding hydraulic brakes removes air bubbles and contaminants from the braking system, ensuring greater component durability and optimal performance.

The BKD-1.2 is designed to stand up to the rigors of daily commercial use, and includes two syringes, hoses with shut-off clips, multi-sized bleed blocks, and a set of our unique mountable syringe holders, as well as multiple fittings to fit the various standards found on bicycle hydraulic brake systems. All parts are replaceable and available from Park Tool. It comes in a sturdy storage case.

  NOTE: The BKD-1.2 is only for bicycle hydraulic brake systems that use DOT fluid. DOT fluid and mineral oil should never be mixed in the brake system or its respective service tools. Cross-contamination of brake fluid can lead to seal failure, which in turn can lead to brake failure.
