Shifty Bike Yoke

Even though 1-speed derailleurs are probably one of the coolest things to hit the bike market in recent years and you wouldn't want to be without them, there are still times when they are a bit vulnerable. When wet and dirty, they can sporadically bother riders with shifting problems, stopping shifting cleanly on the small sprockets, for example.

BikeYoke has addressed this issue and found that various influences such as water, sand, and dirt can contaminate the small cable guide in the derailleur system, causing it to seize and simply stop rotating. Dirt and sand will also cause the small plastic roller to wear out more quickly, and these particles will settle between the fixing screw and the guide roller, which will also reduce the clean operation of the roller.

And that's exactly why BikeYoke launched Shifty. Shifty is simply installed in place of the original plastic derailleur cable guide roller in the derailleur system. The aluminum roller in combination with the sealed stainless steel bearing ensures that the derailleur cable runs freely even in adverse conditions.
