Originally designed in the 1950s when the Bianchi-Pirelli team requested a pump that would fit under the rear seat of the Fiat team car, the Pista pump quickly became an icon of professional team cars and mechanics' workstations at 6-day track races around the world. Its compact shape and ability to lay completely flat allow the pump to take up minimal space in a trunk, travel bag, or larger toolbox, making it a true icon of the sport among cycling connoisseurs.

In 2017, we took all the qualities of the original Pista and released a redesigned, limited edition version of the pump with the iconic Molteni orange barrel to celebrate our 100 years of history. These modern orange pumps were initially intended as a limited edition product to celebrate our legacy, but the positive response and demand for the product have continued. Now in our second century of manufacturing high-performance pumps, we are pleased to incorporate the Pista into our permanent range of floor pumps, and moving forward, we will offer it in a modern red design.
